ROAD
OVER BRIDGE AT PATNA, BIHAR

provided consultancy services for this cable-stayed Road Over Bridge at
Patna. The bridge is designed to cover 10 tracks of railway without
obstruction, keeping the deck to a minimum thickness. This is planned as a
stage-wise construction. As part of stage 1, first 2-lanes are proposed to be
constructed, then the existing ROB will be closed for traffic and the next
2-lanes will be constructed immediately adjacent to the first 2-lanes. The
design for this type of construction for the cable-stayed bridge is unique in
India.

FLYOVER
AT DWARKA, NEW DELHI

has provided consultancy services for this 2.5 km long flyover at Dwarka,
New Delhi. Scope included detailed engineering services, soil investigation
supervision, detailed design of flyover, service road, storm water drains,
topo-survey alignment design and traffic management solution during
construction. Superstructure consists of 4-lane curved fish belly shaped.
Special attention is given to the curved alignment, underground road and
junction improvements.The changing of construction methodology with
pre-cast beams cast-in-situ slab is based on speed of erection with minimum
hindrance for the running traffic.
