Development of Andhra Pradesh Special Economic Zone (APSEZ)

Client : Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Government of Andhra Pradesh

Government of Andhra Pradesh is proposing to develop the Andhra Pradesh Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) in an area of 6,906.43 acres near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh as a multi-product SEZ to usher in economic benefits to the region. The proposed site is at a distance of 55 km from Visakhapatnam. APIIC has been nominated as the nodal agency for development of APSEZ. APIIC appointed L&T-RAMBØLL as Consultants to prepare a Conceptual Master Plan for the development of APSEZ. The services provided are as follows:

  • Site Visit, Data Collection and Review of Earlier Reports
  • Collection of Land Details from APIIC
  • Review of Data
  • Review of Market Study carried out by KPMG
  • Broad Identification of On-site and Off-site Infrastructure Requirements
  • Review of Environmental and Social Aspects
  • Carryout Zoning based on Type of Industries, Environmental Features and Infrastructure Requirements
  • Preparation of Alternative Preliminary Layouts and Conceptual Master Plan
  • Submission of Draft Master Plan 
  • Presentation to APIIC
  • Submission of Final Master Plan incorporating APIIC observations.

DEVELOPMENT OF THREE SMALL AIRPORTS AT VIJAYAWADA, RAJAHMUNDRY AND CUDDAPAH, ANDHRA PRADESH

In the year 1997, Airports Authority of India (AAI) informed Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) that a number of small airports have remained under-developed in the state, due to lack of adequate resources with them. AAI suggested that GoAP may carryout Techno-Economic Feasibility Studies of the small airports and then consider taking over and developing the airports to suit their requirements. AAI proposed to hand over few small airports to GoAP. Accordingly, GoAP appointed L&T-RAMBØLL to carry out a Feasibility Study and Bid Process Management for the Development of Small Airports in Andhra Pradesh. The services provided are as follows:

DEVELOPMENT OF SEZ NEAR GURGAON, HARYANA

Client : MGF Developments Limited (MGF)

MGF Developments Limited (MGF) proposes to develop a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near Gurgaon in Haryana. MGF needs to submit a Project Report on the proposed development of SEZ near Gurgaon to seek the approval of Government of Haryana and request for allocation of land; and subsequently, approval from the Government of India. MGF requested L&T-RAMBØLL to prepare the Project Report to introduce the features of the project to the authorities. The services provided are as follows:
